The Old Vicarage B&B, Little Ouse

The picture was taken from the morning room, as the winter sun began to rise.

The house was built before electricity was standard in houses. Therefore, the builder orientated the house to make maximum use of the sun; in the routine of the house. The sun rises over the maids quarters and kitchen, then tracks its way round the house. In the afternoon and evening it is on the dining room and sitting room. The last rays of light are on the sitting room and vicar’s study.
