The new semi-circular entrance at the front will be built to match the stable block wall. On the left side a reproduction Victorian postbox will be inserted. On the right side of the wall, the house name sign will be displayed.
The truck mixes what you need. Around four cubic metres in this case was poured.
The wall and gate, excluding wall toppings and pier caps will be in place in the next few weeks.
Getting the position right for the postbox. The old broken bricks from the house renovation are being used for the first few rows. These will be hidden by earth once finished.An extra column of bricks is being added to the middle of the wall to accommodate the depth of the postbox. The white/buff bricks will make decorative crosses, to match the stable wall.
