The Old Vicarage B&B, Little Ouse

Around the boundary of the Old Vicarage, I decided to create herbaceous borders two and in some cases three borders deep with grass paths running between them. This looks like the points on a railway in some areas where the paths converge. Earlier in the year, I just let the grass grow and gradually cut walkways through the summer, refining them if they weren’t quite right. the only remit being they should be at least the width of the sit on lawnmower. I have now begun digging them over and planting them up. I think this will be ongoing for a number of years.
