Saint John the Evangelist Reviving Drusiana (1599)

Andrea Boscoli – Italian (active Florence), c. 1560 – 1607

A Christian woman from Ephesus, Drusiana was devoted to the teachings of the Apostle John (also known as John the Evangelist). At her death, when her funeral procession passed him on the road, John called to her and she miraculously rose up as if she had merely been asleep.

A small print that I ordered. I think it will go well in the entrance hall of The Old Vicarage of St John the Evangelist.
