The gymnasium is in what was formerly the stable. The stalls and feeders have now been removed. in the gable wall, a new doorway has been added. This allows access to possibly a shower room, which will be in the renovated lean-to.

On close inspection of the stalls, the wood was so rotten that it would have all had to be removed. As this room will never be used as a stable again, the option was taken to remove the stalls. This has made an excellent sized room.
- Several of the beams are rotted. Nothing can be done, they need to come out. that means the old lathe ceiling needs to come down.
- You can see the new electric fuse box in the bottom right of the photo. If necessary this building could be separated from the power supply of the main house if required.

- The old uneven floor has been lifted it had sunk over the years. A new sub floor has been installed.
- The bricks being a hard brick have been cleaned and repurposed in several areas outside, such as the edging of the carpark and also the base under the seating area at the back of the garden.
