Master ensuite

The master ensuite used to be the dressing room and connected the master bedroom and the other front facing bedroom. The doorway has been removed to the front facing bedroom, thereby making a larger area for the master ensuite. This was a large ensuite by UK standard, but we wanted it larger! Therefore, we took out the linen cupboard on the top hallway and extended the ensuite. The result is a master ensuite that is the same size as the master bathroom.

The following artboards are some of the designs for this ensuite. These are mainly to show how it can accommodate features such as a double shower, double sinks a television etc. They are not showing the actual items that will be installed.

In the above diagram, the doors to the landing (linen closet) were removed, this is now the back of the double shower. The shower door is where the old stud wall (back of the linen closet) on the upstairs hallway was.

This room had a Jack and Jill arrangement of doors between two bedrooms. The removed door was facing the other door, approximately where the bath is.
