Peacocks waiting for lunch

I tend to plant most of the annuals in the flower beds or vegetable garden with little protection and very densely populated. The reason is, many animals enjoy the seedlings. One group is the local peacock family, which have a circuit they do each day though the local hamlet. Today’s victims were the wallflowers, they especially liked the raised ones in the tubs, just at head height for them, no stooping. Over the last few days have taken care of most of them.

  1. I have to ponder the question; What is the purpose of the peacocks in the verdant garden?

I can only imagine, it is
to ensure the flora doesn’t get crushed by the elephants! 🦚💐🐘
